CHARLOTTE, NC (March 7, 2017) – Lee Faulk Racing and Development and Cole Glasson made their debut together at Hickory Motor Speedway this past Saturday and had some great season debut results.

Cole was able to qualify outside pole for the first twin 50 race. Cole stayed in the top 3 the entire race as they pulled away from the field. During the last caution with four laps to go, Cole made a quick move on the inside to put himself in position for the win, but had racing contact coming out of turn 4 which would result in him coming in 3rd. After the invert, this would put him starting 6th for the second twin 50. Cole wasted no time taking the lead in lap 7 and stretching the lead over the field after each restart. During the last restart, Cole was caught by second place and they continued to do side by side racing the last 10 laps with Cole coming up just short of the win with a photo finish. Cole was able to lead over 40 laps of the second race.

“I am super excited with our results, we qualified on outside pole only 6/100th’s off and a mistake by me cost us pole,” Cole Glasson said. “LFR and the crew gave me an incredible car with the ability to win, the cautions just did not play in our favor, but we were still able to leave with great results.”

“We could not have asked for a better first race together, with a few circumstance changes we could have left with two wins,” LFR Vice President/Marketing Michael Faulk said. “The car was fast and Cole drove a great race to put us in contention to win each race.”
